Time for a Quality Check
According to Business 2 Community contributor Kerry Dye, there are several ways associations can check the quality of their website content prior to publishing. Some are obvious, such as fact checking, checking for spelling and grammar, and proper formatting. Perhaps most important, is "content value and originality." Before creating any kind of content, ask such questions as "What problem is this content going to solve for our members?" and "Does this content offer something of value that members can't get anywhere else?" Finally, while associations should never force keywords into their content, it's smart to include them in the following places where possible: your page title, your introduction, and any and all headings.
