Associations should consider partnering with other organizations to create marketing wins for both organizations. Forbes contributor Gloria Horsley details several ways to partner on marketing initiatives once leadership has identified a nonprofit that has a similar or complementary objective, ranging from shared participation in webinars to swapping content and repurposing it on blogs and social media outlets. Conferences and trade shows also are good opportunities for collaboration. Horsley encourages organizations to identify skill gaps and seek out partners that can help fill them.
