Pivoting Your 2020 Strategy
Bloomerang contributor Vanessa Chase, President of TheStorytellingNonprofit.com, shares some recommendations for pivoting your association's content and communication strategy during the pandemic. First, she writes, "don't throw out what you've already planned ... at least not completely." Cull through your strategy and divide what was planned into three categories: must-keep communications, maybe communications, and communications to postpone. Two, figure out what your members need from their association. Three, plan communications and content that reflect the environment and tone. Finally, constantly evaluate and stay nimble. Chase writes, "Planning a week at a time ... that's how we're all taking life right now anyway."
